BACKING OCEAN GROVE ATHLETES TO GO NEXT LEVEL

Ocean Grove Surf Lifesaving Club have been awarded a travel grant enabling them to compete at the top level.

Member for Bellarine Alison Marchant visited Ocean Grove Lifesaving Club after they received a grant from the State Government’s Athlete Pathway Travel Grant Program.

The grant will benefit Ocean Grove Lifesaving Club and their Inflatable Rescue Boat team, helping them take their skills and compete at the next level.

The club will use the grant to support their travel to the Australian Inflatable Rescue Boat (IRB) Championships in Kingscliff NSW, recognising their commitment.

The grants are part of the Government’s strong commitment to sport and recreation, gender equality and encouraging all Victorians to get active.
