The Allan Labor Government is ensuring students at Wallington Primary School on the Bellarine will have access to more modern and inclusive learning facilities with a round of major upgrades.

Construction of upgraded classrooms and learning spaces has commenced, including works on the main building. The new facilities are expected to be completed later this year.

The school received $2.1 million in the 2023–24 State Budget to upgrade classrooms and learning spaces.

Additionally, through the Department’s Inclusive Schools Fund, the school secured over $180,000 to build an inclusive playground, which was completed in 2024.

New and modern school buildings contribute to school pride for students, parents and the wider community, building their engagement with education.

The Labor Government is building the Education State with record investment in our schools.

In the past 10 years, the Victorian Government has invested $16.9 billion in building new schools and more than 2,200 school upgrades.
