Labor is delivering an immediate 900,000 to keep food moving to the frontline services that need it most.
Another 200,000 to rescue and redistribute surplus food.
OzHarvest will also receive 200,000 to continue their services.
Community Information & Support Victoria (CISVic) are often a first port of call for families who need support and they'll receive $100,000 to keep supporting families.
This is on top of the Allan Labor Government's record investment in food relief in last year's Budget.
This won't solve every problem facing families.
But it's immediate relief to help Victorians right now while we keep working on new solutions to help with cost-of-living.
