My constituency question is for the Minister for Community Sport. Minister, with the recent announcement of the government committing $40 million for an all-abilities sport fund to remove the barriers of entry for people with a disability to get involved in sport, could you please provide an overview of what this fund may be used for and help to achieve for the Bellarine? The Bellarine has many wonderful sporting clubs that are full of volunteers committed to seeing juniors have healthy and active lifestyles. In recent times three clubs on the Bellarine have introduced all-abilities programs: Ocean Grove Cobras have introduced an all-abilities Auskick program; Ocean Grove Tennis Club have started discussions about a wheelchair tennis hub; and Wallington Bears, the only baseball club in the Bellarine, has introduced an all-abilities junior program, learning the skills of baseball, which the kids have had so much fun with and the families. I congratulate the clubs for their initiatives. I look forward to the minister’s overview and update.
